Sincerely, it was a relaxing stay of two nights. Our room was budget and fine on the upper floors. Loved peaceful and pleasant location walk from a subway station. For dinner, we went to ristorante vecchiomondo, it was a short walk to the venue...

We arrived about 9am, knowing that we couldn't get into our rooms until 3pm, but hoping to be able to leave our cases in safety. The management were happy to store the cases, and could obviously see how tired we were after over 30hours on the journey. They made available another room for us to rest in, and provided breakfast. They seemes anxious to oblige, and treated us with kindness. The proximity to Gloucester Road Tube Station was good, and the general area around the Hotel felt safe day and night.
Although the staff were obliging, they didn't quite deliver the service we expected. Compared to other places we stayed, we felt the prices were excessive.

St simeon hotel is a fantastic find for budget travelers. The staff are genuinely charming, and the night porter even offered me tea upon my late arrival. I loved the old-fashioned breakfast with bacon, eggs, and sausages, paired with a cuppa from a proper teapot. Super value in a nice neighborhood!

The hotel is at a good place and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and we were stuffed...
This budget hotel is a family run hotel and maybe they don't have enough capital to renew all the windows, at least not in all rooms. The walls are rather thin. Be sure to take a soap with you as it is not provided. My biggest problem was that when we have arrived, they have made us pay the fee in advance for the whole stay and after that, they have told us that they currently can't provide us with the four bed room we've booked. Although had I known that before paying for the room, I would have still paid the fee in advance, but this way I felt a little being "trapped". Fortunately, after a day, we've received the room with four beds, and everything turned out to be fine.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. You started your day with a very big breakfast served at your table. They are constently going round asking if you would like something else. A very good selection of food. Bedroom served its purpose, TV didnt really work but although the children didnt like that fact I was not bothered.
This hotel is a bit tired looking, a fresh coat of paint, a bit of dusting on top of the reception and moving mattresses from the stairs would make it look so much better.

Basic amenities like insufficient storage and worn bedding stood out. The bathrooms felt confined and a bit grimy at times!!! Cleanliness should have been prioritized more!!!

Location close to Gloucester Road station. Excellent surroundings in London. Very easy to walk to the museums in the Kensington area. Very nice breakfast.
The room was too small and the bathroom was too basic. No towel hangers at all, even in the bedroom.

Not alot really, the room was so so cold and damp you literally could not swing a cat! Mind you, you would of been able to swing a gerbil!!! The breakfast wasnt that great either, cold very greasey and the toast was made from a baggeutte which seemed to have gone stale as I couldnt bite into it. Myself and a collegue who stayed were actually laughing at how bad this hotel is!!

Super customer service. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The complimentary English breakfast was very good and plentiful. You don't go away hungry. Everything was clean. The kitchen and dining room are available until at least 9 pm (self-service only). We had snacks we bought from a nearby Tesco and were able to use the dining room at 11:30 pm. If you want a luxury hotel, this is not for you. But, if you want a clean place to sleep, get a good hot breakfast (family style), and a place to use as your base as you explore London, then consider staying here. I would stay again.
You have to have an open mind when staying here. The rooms are tiny and have some wear and tear. There's not much room to move around.

The welcome was super friendly and the lobby was so cozy, giving a great first impression. My room was small but comfy and had everything i needed for a night. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the tube station, and there's some nice cafes around. The breakfast sounds really good, hope to try it next time! Supporting independent hotels like this is a plus too.
The room could use a little update and there weren't any tea making facilities. The shower could use some shelves for toiletries.

We come across two front desk staff. The one with evening duty happened to be much more helpful than the other who just wanted to sell some bus tour. The kitchen people were all very nice. We did enjoy every breakfast time. There is a kitchen which we could use as we like even during night time. We managed to cook some evening meals there.
The room is untidy and not clean enough. Though the toilet is equipped with a water basin (too small) and a shower corner (without any racks or hooks), there are just put there seemingly without any thoughts about whether they could be used at ease. We stayed at the hotel for one whole week and it's not difficult to imagine the lasting inconvenience to us.
